James from Clean Water of VA, aka: EcoWater, installed a water softener for us about a month ago. We had been living in the north side of Winchester and suffered the terrible side effects of having to live with hard water for 10 years because our apartment complex did not allow us to have water softeners.So we were finally able to move recently to a home we’re renting about 10 minutes away, and thankfully, we, at our own expense, were allowed to install a water softener!!! I have never been happier!! What a relief, not having to clean off hard water stains from everything, every day, and watching appliances like hot water heaters die prematurely. Not to mention the damage that had water does to your hair!I work in warranty services for a builder in Lake Frederick and I have seen James around the community for years, and my former manager highly recommended him to other members in the community because she had purchased her water softener from James years ago. So, Clean water of VA was placed on our Member Recommended Contractor list and I would also mention what great work they do for new members who did not know that they even had hard water, what to use, and who they could trust. Well, I definitely learned that that would be James and when it came time for me to have my water softener installed, I contacted James, of course!!

I called for a check up , appointment was scheduled less than a week out. Tech showed up on time and completed check and preventative maintenance. He was very customer oriented and professional. Outstanding service from a local company.

Our family is wowed by quality of our well water after Clean Water of VA installed a new the Ecowater System ECR3702 water conditioner with WiFi and ERO 385 reverse osmosis in our home! James did an awesome job installing both systems. Bob, our salesman, did a great job explaining and evaluating our water quality and was very personable and friendly. Bob told us that not only would our family be able to appreciate the difference in water quality, our dogs would too! We thought that the equipment would make a big difference in our water quality and thought Bob was kidding around about our dogs loving the water. Bob was not kidding, he was totally serious and our dogs LOVE the new water system! Everyone is our household is drinking a lot more water now - including our dogs!

After going through a couple of water softeners from big-box stores that only last 5-7 years, I decided to go with an Ecowater. I researched companies in the tri-state area that had experience performing water testing, in-house plumbing services and installed highly rated water softeners. My experience with Clean Water of VA, from on-site testing to installation, was outstanding. I was lucky enough to have this plumber named James install my water softener. He was incredibly professional and one of the more technically competent plumbers that have worked in my home the past 20 years. He took his time and was a pleasure to speak to. It wasn't until a day later that I was informed that James was the owner of the company. I would have never known that this humble person who installed my water softener was the owner. It speaks to his work ethic and commitment to his customers. I feel confident I purchased from a local company that will stand by their products and provide professional service.

We got great service from Clean Water VA. We're very happy with our unit, with our sales rep and installer who came to our home, and the price. They're right in line with Culligan fo price and we prefer to support a local family business. I definitely recommend them! We had awful hard Martinsburg water and have had sparkling dishes and soft laundry ever since our softener was put in.

I just wanted to tell you something that you probably don't know but we have been using soft water since 1959 when the business was run by Servisoft (now, Ecowater) and owned by the Butchers. Jim talked us into putting it in our home when I noticed the film on the water I was using for my newborn sons formula. It was gross. I was amazed at the difference the softener made in everything in our home. I have always said that I would give up anything else in my home but the softener. I will not do without it. At that time Jim Butcher told me for every system and recommendation I told people about that he would give me a discount. I lined up many, many people in Strasburg. even businesses. I just want to take a moment to let everyone know that talking with Ted was very educational & informational. He treated me as a regular person and was very knowledgeable with the information that he gave to me. No question at anytime in our conversation did he not have an answer for and was very specific in the information that he gave me so that I completely understood what we were both talking about. In May, 2018, I purchased an [EcoWater] water system. I compared 3 other companies, and it is truly a superior system. I could not be happier. It delivers everything promised. Also, I no longer have to lift and haul 40 pounds of salt monthly, my water is not rusty after back washing, and my tanks do not sweat anymore. Its cleaning is completely efficient and automatic. Also, I purchased ERO 175 drinking water system. It is also a superior system. It is so great to have pure drinking water anytime I want.

Ted Pokabla was a great water specialist who was very knowledgeable about his product. His customer service skills have been outstanding. I highly recommend this product and company to anyone looking to upgrade their water system. You will not be disappointed!!

Ted went above and beyond in scoping the project and buying a replacement bulb for our existing UV light unit. They didn't oversell me.
